Ingredients
- 1 Large package of chicken thighs
- 1/8c Whole grain mustard
- 1/4c Franks Hot Sauce
- 1/4c Maple Syrup
- 2-4 TBSP of Garlic Powder
Directions
- In a bowl add 1/8c Frank’s hot sauce, 1/8c whole grain mustard, 1/8c maple syrup, 2-4 TBSP of Garlic Powder and mix all ingredients together well
- Add one large package of chicken thighs to slow cooker, pour in mixture and make sure all the chicken is coated
- Cook on low for 8-9 hours
- While still hot and in the slow cooker, take a fork or a large spoon to stir and shred the chicken (it should be very tender and a spoon should break it up nicely)
At this point you now have a great pull-chicken, if you’d like to add a bit more flavour and sauciness to it, do the following:
- In a frying pan, over low heat, take the shredded chicken add 1/8c Frank’s hot sauce and 1/8c maple syrup together and cook for 12 to 14 minutes
You can eat the awesomeness that is your pulled chicken any way, my favourite is on top of a loaded sweet potato.
