It is with an extremely heavy heart and great sadness to tell you that my dear Coco passed away early Sunday evening.

Coco was with me from my very early 20s and never left my side until this passed Sunday. Over the past 10 years she was the one constant in my life that never changed. She was there when no one else was and never judged or criticized me, she just loved me unconditionally, what more could someone ask for?

Not only did Coco give lots of love, she was dog that everyone loved, even if you weren’t a dog person (right,Gina!). Her personality was like none that I’ve seen before and I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do when I come home and she’s not there, wagging her tail with those amazingly caring eyes staring back at me, and it’s already far too quiet in our house without the clickety clack of her nails on the floor.

I have to say thank you so much to everyone for the kind words and thoughts sent our way in the last 36 hours. It was a rough weekend and each night without her here to say goodnight to when we go to bed and each morning getting up and not having her here to greet us when we get up, is almost unbearable. People say it gets easier with time and I can only pray they are right.

Coco, you were more than just a pet, you were my best friend and you will always be remembered!

Thursday at Just Fitness we will be doing this WOD in Coco’s Memory.

All I can say is totally enjoy the memories and talk about her often! It helps. Time does help. And there will be days you miss her till your heart is sick but the joy will surge through you that she was in your life and made it better. A bittersweet thing. I am a true believer pets are a blessing! I miss my princess terribly but so glad I had her in my life! She brought such happiness and joy! I am glad I got to experience that. Big hug to you both!
