One of my favourite post workout meals is my Protein banana pancakes, topped with peanut butter and organic maple syrup.

Ingredients:

  • 1 organic banana
  • 1 free range organic egg
  • 1/8c organic quick oats
  • 1/8c water
  • 1 scoop Magnum vanilla protein powder

Put all ingredients in a food processor or magic bullet and blend until mixed and smooth.

Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot. Top as you please.

Do you think we could use the large rolled oats? I’ve already bought some for other recipes. I’m thinking I should blend the oats first by themselves to break them down a bit before adding the other ingredients?
